What is Beat Leasing?

When you "buy" a beat from our store, you are typically purchasing a lease. A lease is a non-exclusive license that grants you specific rights to use the beat for your own song or project. It's an affordable way for independent artists to use professional production without the high cost of buying the beat outright.

• Non-Exclusive: This means the same beat can be licensed to multiple artists.
• Usage Limits: Leases come with certain limitations, such as the number of streams, sales, or public performances allowed.
• Producer Retains Ownership: As the creator, Hotcorebeatz retains full copyright and ownership of the original musical composition.

For artists who require unlimited usage and full ownership, we offer Exclusive Rights. Once a beat is sold exclusively, it is removed from our store and never sold again.

Breaking Down Our Licenses

MP3 Lease (Basic Lease)

This is our most affordable option, perfect for artists who are writing, recording demos, or creating promotional tracks for non-commercial use on platforms like SoundCloud.

WAV Lease (Premium Lease)

The industry standard for independent releases. You get a high-quality WAV file, which is essential for releasing on major streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. This license provides higher usage limits suitable for commercial singles.

Track Out Lease (Stems)

The ultimate choice for artists who demand full control over their sound. "Track Outs" or "Stems" are the individual audio files (e.g., kick, snare, melody) that make up the beat. This allows your audio engineer to perfectly mix and master your vocals with the instrumental for a professional, radio-ready final song.

Exclusive Rights

This is the highest level of licensing. When you buy exclusive rights, you gain full ownership rights to the beat. It will be removed from our store and you can use it for any purpose with unlimited streams, sales, and monetization. This is the standard for major label releases or artists with a significant budget.
